conference_summit.pngIt's pretty amazing to watch your students eyes light up when a tough concept finally begins to make sense to them—especially when the reason they got that concept was because of your hard work and preparation to teach the material in a way that was not only comprehensible, but engaging and inspiring as well.

We know there are teachers out there who not only have lots of practice planning great lessons, but also love to apply their passion, creativity and professional knowledge to the lesson planning process. If you're one of those teachers, we want other teachers to benefit from your expertise.

This month, we're asking experienced teachers everywhere to share their greatest lesson ideas with us.  From there, our expert teacher panel will evaluate your submissions and the authors of the five lesson ideas that they think best exemplify innovative, creative teaching will each win an iPod Touch.  It's our little way of saying thank you for everything you do.

Enter your best lesson idea now.

Good luck!

I am writing to share about Amy's Travels, the first children's book to teach all seven continents. This multicultural children's book, based on a true story, is complete with K-5 lesson plans, a comprehensive book guide, and extension activities for the classroom. You can find these resources at http://www.creativemindspublications.com

To add technology and global awareness to the lesson, the Amy's Travels Project is available on Skype in the Classroom The blog post is up here: http://blogs.skype.com/play/2011/08/amys-travels-project-connects.html
