First impression lasts very long. It is important to start right the first minute. there is need to be friendly but firm. Let the pupils know you have their best at heart and this is why you won't allow them do just about anything that is not in their interest so discipline is key. As a Christian Educator, I have learnt that balance based on scriptures is most important.
