New Teacher Advice

It will only last  9 menthes. Next year someone else will be a rookie teacher and you can offer your expertise.  And did I ever. I had wonderful help from many veteran teachers and over the years I have continued to remember all of them by sharing as they did with me.  Even the simplest thing such as a box of staples means so much to a kid fresh out of college.

New Teacher Advice from Carolyn-41 years and counting:

 

In June think of one student you know that needs you to come back in September, even if you will not teach that student. Focus on that student during the summer and you will come back everytime. I hope you have as many years of " the one student rule" as I have.
